  • Create highlights with special effects, including slow motion and zoom
  • Film the entire field of play and have our AI follow the action (currently basketball games only; others coming soon) so you don’t have to worry about being a cameraman
  • Share full game video with others, including those who weren’t able to make it to the game
  • Free up valuable storage space on your phone - all video is stored securely in the Cloud
Q:
How much does FullCourt.ai cost?
A:
Our beta phase has ended and FullCourt.ai is now being offered as a subscription. Please see the next section for pricing details. Users who would like to film in FullCourt Mode with two iPhones require a special holder, which can be purchased here.

Q:
Does FullCourt.ai offer a free trial?
A:

How much does a subscription cost?
    A:
We have two subscriptions you may choose from:

Family Plan - $4.99/month or $49.99/year (17%discount). This gives you and anyone on your Apple Family Plan access to the app and all its features for one team.

Team Plan - $14.99/month or $149.99/year (17%discount). This provides access to as many people as you'd like for one team. You can add other parents, players, coaches and fans for free - nobody else has to pay a subscription fee.

    Q:
How many teams can I have with one subscription?
    A:
You can only have one active team with each subscription. However, you have the option of placing a team in “Off-season mode,” which allows you to save video in the FullCourt.ai system while applying the subscription to another team. In Off-season mode, you will not be able to record or edit video for the original team.
      Q:
I’m interested in purchasing 5 or more teamsubscriptions. Do you offer a discount?
      A:
We offer 5 and 10 team subscription packages with a discount. Please email us at support@fullcourt.ai.
      Q:
What happens if I don’t subscribe?
      A:
If you don’t subscribe at the conclusion of your free trial, or if your existing subscriptions expire, you will lose access to all video and highlights you’ve created. All video for expired subscriptions will be deleted from our system after 90 days.
      Q:
Can I cancel a subscription at any time?
      A:
Yes, you may cancel a subscription at any time. You will continue to have access to all video and FullCourt.ai features until the end of your subscription billing cycle.
      Q:
How do I cancel my subscription?
      A:
You can cancel your subscription by pressing the manage subscription icon (small gear icon with a dollar sign) to the right of your team on the My Teams page and clicking on the “Cancel subscription” link at the bottom of the Manage Subscriptions page. You can also cancel a subscription on your device by clicking on Settings on your iPhone, then clicking on your name and Subscriptions.
      Q:
My season doesn’t last a full year, and my child plays on several teams. Can I apply my subscription to another team?
      A:
That’s why we created “Off-season mode.” This option allows you to essentially deactivate a team and apply the subscription to another team. We will save all video and highlights for the Off-season team, but you won’t be able to record or edit video. You can reactivate a team at anytime by resubscribing.
      Q:
How much does Off-season mode cost?
      A:
It depends on which type of subscription you have. For a Team Plan, it costs $2.99/year to put a team in Off-season mode. For a Family Plan, it costs $0.99/year. This is a great option to make sure all your team video and highlights are saved in the cloud.
      Q:
How do I put a team into Off-season mode?
      A:
Simply click on the subscription settings icon (small gear icon with a dollar sign) to the right of the team name. This will take you to the Manage Subscriptions page where you can modify your subscription plan or place a team into Off-season mode.
      Q:
How do I know what plan my team is on?
      A:
You can see the status of your subscriptions and teams on the MyTeams tab. You may see some or all of the following descriptions:
      • Active Teams - These are teams with a paid subscription. You are a member of these teams as part of a Family or Team plan, or as part of your free trial. To the right of the team listing, you’ll see “Trial,” “Family”or “Team” depending upon which type of subscription plan you have for that team.
      • Off-season Teams - These are teams that are not currently active. You are paying either $0.99/year (for a Family Plan) or $2.99/year (for a Team Plan) to save all game video and highlights in the cloud. You are not able to record new games or edit video unless you reactivate the team with a paid subscription.
      • Lapsed Teams - The subscription for these teams has not been renewed. If payment is not made shortly, these teams will expire and you will not have access to game video or highlights.
      • Expired Teams - These are teams that do not have a paid subscription and are not in Off-season mode. You do not have access to game video or highlights. All game video will be deleted from the FullCourt.ai system after 90 days unless you reactivate a team with a paid subscription or place the team in Off-Season mode.
      • Optional Teams - These are teams someone has invited you into. However, you need to subscribe for access by purchasing a Family or Team Plan subscription (note: if you purchase a Team Plan, others will be able to join for free without paying a subscription).
      Q:
Can others join a team that is on a Family Plan?
      A:
Yes, anyone who is on the subscriber’s Apple Family Plan can join the team for free. This is a great option for parents or athletes who are primarily interested in using FullCourt.ai just for themselves or their family. You may invite people onto the team outside of your Apple Family Plan, but they will not be able to join your team without subscribing. If you plan to invite people on the team outside of your Apple Family Plan, we suggest you subscribe as a Team Plan.
      Q:
Can others join a team that is on a Team Plan?
      A:
Yes! That’s what FullCourt.ai is all about. With a Team Plan, you can invite as many people as you like onto the team – coaches, parents, players and fans. Anyone you invite can join for free as long as you have an active Team Plan subscription. They will be able to record, edit and share video, and even create their own highlights. They’ll also get game highlights as they happen. The Team Plan is a great way to make sure everyone has easy access to all team video.
      Q:
My subscription expired and I need access to my team’s video. What can I do?
      A:
You can regain access to all team video if the team has expired within the past 90 days. Go to your My Teams page, click on the team name in the “Expired Teams” section, then click on the Manage Subscriptions icon (small gear icon with a dollar sign) to the right of your team name and follow the instructions to subscribe for that team. Once you are subscribed you will have access to all existing video and highlights and you’ll be able to record and edit new video.
      Getting Started
      Q:
I just downloaded the app. What do I do now?
      A:
The first time you open the app, you’ll be prompted to choose your Notifications and Bluetooth settings. Allowing Notifications means you will get alerts when new film is recorded and clips are created for your team(s). Allowing Bluetooth means you will be able to film games using two iPhones in order to capture the entire court or field without having to follow the action. You can always adjust these later within your iPhone settings.
      • Click “Don’t Allow” or “Allow” to receive notifications
      • To turn on Bluetooth, press “Settings,” otherwise click “Close”
      • Press “Next” at the bottom or “Skip now” in upper right to go to the signup page
      Q:
What kinds of notifications will I receive if I allow notifications?
      A:
You will receive notifications when someone creates a video or highlight clip for any team you’ve joined. This can be a great way to follow the action if you are not able to attend the game, or if you’d like to see big play highlights in real time.
      Q:
What does it mean if I enable Bluetooth in my settings?
      A:
Enabling Bluetooth for FullCourt.ai will allow you to do two things. First, you will be able to film a game using two iPhones in what we call “Pano mode.” This allows you to set up the cameras without having to worry about following the action since you’ll be filming the entire field or court from end to end (you’ll need to have a FullCourt.ai holder to properly set up the two iPhones). Second, even if you’re only filming with one iPhone, you’ll be able to mark and “clip” highlights using a separate phone. This means you can set up one iPhone to film the game, and sit in a seat away from the camera while using the other iPhone to capture highlights.
      Q:
How do I create an account?
      A:
Once you’ve downloaded the FullCourt.ai app from the App Store:
      • Open the app
      • Click the “Sign Up” link
      • Enter your email address and desired password
      • Click the “Sign Up” button
      Q:
Should I create a team or join a team?
      A:
When you first sign up with FullCourt.ai, you’ll be asked if you’d like to “Create a Team” or “Join an Existing Team.” All of the videos that are filmed with FullCourt.ai are organized by team. If you are the first person on your team to use FullCourt.ai, click “Create a Team.” You’ll then be able to invite others (parents, players, family, friends, coaches) to join your team and they will have access to all video and highlights. Other team members can also film and create and edit their own clips. If someone has already created a team for you to join, you should have received a message with a special link or code. In the case of a special link, click the link and you’ll automatically be added to the team. If you received a code, select “Join an Existing Team” and enter the code you received to be added to the existing team.
      Q:
How do I create a team?
      A:
      • Click on the “Create a Team” button
      • Enter your team’s name
      • Select your team’s sport
      • Click the “Done” button
      Q:
How do I join an existing team?
      A:
The way you join an existing team depends upon whether or not you’ve already created your FullCourt.ai account:
If you haven’t created an account yet you can join an existing team automatically or using a unique Team Code:
      • Download the FullCourt.ai app from the App Store
      • Click the “Sign Up” link
      • Enter your email address and desired password
      • Click the “Sign Up” button
      • If you received a special link in your invitation, you’ll be added to your new team automatically. If you received a unique Team Code, press the “Join an Existing Team” button
        • Enter the team code you received in the popup box (the code is NOT case-sensitive)
        • Click “Join”
      • You’ll receive a “Welcome to Team” message
      • Press “See Highlights” to dismiss; a “Welcome to FullCourtAI” message also appears
      • Press “OK, got it” or the X in the upper right corner to dismiss and view “My Studio”
If you already have a FullCourt.ai account:
      • Login to your account
      • Click on “My Teams” at the bottom of the screen
      • Click on “Join Existing Team” in the upper right
      • Enter the team code you received in the popup box (the code is NOT case-sensitive)

      • You’ll receive a “Welcome to Team” confirmation message
      • Click on “See Highlights” to dismiss the confirmation message
      Navigating the App
      Q:
What are the different sections of the app?
      A:
There are four primary tabs or sections within the FullCourt.ai app, all listed across the bottom of the screen. When you are logged into the app, you will always start in the My Studio section.
      • My Studio - All of your videos and highlights (what we call “clips”) live in My Studio. Videos are organized in chronological order, by date, with the name of the game (or date and time if using the default name), followed by any “clips,” and then the Full Game video. You can view, edit, download, share and delete video in My Studio. Within My Studio you’ll also find several buttons toward the top of the screen that allow you to filter your videos, start filming and clip remotely from another iPhone.
      • My Teams - Any team you’ve created or have been invited to will be listed here. You can see other members, invite new members and add players to your team’s roster.
      • FAQ – Where to go for help with the app.
      • Profile - This is where you can edit your name and adjust settings for FullCourt.ai, including things like video quality and video uploading.
      Filming Video
      Q:
Do I need to be connected to wifi in order to film a game?
      A:
No, you do not need to be connected in order to film. If you are offline and not connected to WiFi or a cell signal, the film will be stored locally on your phone until you reach a connection. Once connected, the app will upload the film in the background to the Cloud and remove the film from your local storage as soon as it’s uploaded (you do not need to do anything; this process will happen automatically.
      Q:
How do I film a game?
      A:
      • Make sure you are in the My Studio tab
      • Click on “Film Video” in the upper left (if this is the first time you’re filming a game, on the next screen press the “Start Recording” button)
      • Select your Recording Mode
        • Choose “Single Camera Recording” to film with one iPhone
        • Choose “FullCourt Recording” to film with two iPhones (this allows you to film the entire court or field without having to move the camera)
      • Follow the instructions below for your selected recording mode
      Q:
How do I film in “Single Camera Recording” mode?
      A:
      • Secure your iPhone into a tripod for best results
      • Select “Single Camera Recording”
      • The app will switch automatically to landscape orientation; adjust your tripod if necessary
      • Click “OK” to give FullCourt.ai access to your iPhone’s camera (this is not optional)
      • Click “OK” if you’d like to give FullCourt.ai access to the iPhone’s microphone (this is optional)
      • You’re now in filming mode, and you’ll see some additional buttons:
        • The large red recording button allows you to start/pause/stop filming
        • The minus and plus buttons allow you to zoom (for best results, we recommend you stay at 1.0x)
        • The brightness button
      • To begin filming, press the red Record button
      • You’ll notice the Record button switches to a Pause button, and a small “Clip” button is now visible in the lower right corner. Press the “Clip” button whenever you want to capture a highlight (what we call a “clip”) while recording. See instructions for clipping below.
      • To pause or finish recording, press the red Pause button. You can pause during a prolonged period such as a timeout or end of period, and hit the Record button to resume recording.
      • When you are finished recording, press the “End Game” button. An End Game popup will prompt you to enter a name for this game, or you can just use the default date and time.
      • Click “Finish.” This creates a Full Game video. You will be able to view, edit and share this video and any clips within your My Studio tab.
      Q:
      What is “FullCourt Mode?”
      A:
“FullCourt Mode” is what we call a game you record using two iPhones in a special holder. Filming in FullCourt Mode allows the cameras to capture the game from end to end of the court or field, without you having to move the cameras to follow the action.
      Q:
How do I film in FullCourt Mode?
      A:
      • Make sure you have a special FullCourt holder that allows you to attach both phones securely to a tripod. Holders can be purchased here.
      • Make sure both iPhones have Bluetooth enabled
      • Place both iPhones in the holder, in landscape (sideways) orientation. It does not matter which iPhone goes on top
      • On your iPhone, select “FullCourt Recording.” You will see a list of Available Devices. This list includes your iPhone (“your device”) and other available phones
      • Beneath “Select Second Camera” you will see the second iPhone listed. Click on the “Sync” button to the right of the second iPhone
      • The app will sync the two iPhones and let you know if the connection was successful. If so, click the “OK” button(if unsuccessful, try closing and reopening the app on both devices and sync again).
      • The app will now help you confirm the proper placement of your iPhones within the holder, by directing you to use the “A” or “B” pin placement in the holder. If both phones are iPhone 11 or later, use position A. If one or more phones are X or earlier, use position B.
      • Click “OK”
      • You will see another confirmation. Select “Start Recording”
      • You will see a Record screen on both iPhones, with an “”Overlapping Area.” This overlapping, or common, area is essential to enable FullCourt.ai to create the full panoramic view. If necessary, adjust the cameras so the same part of the field or court is visible in the “overlapping area” of BOTH iPhones. Need help? Watch the brief video below.
      • To begin filming, press the red Record button (you only need to do this on one of the phones)
      Q:
What’s the best way to position the camera(s) for filming a game?
      A:
There are no requirements in terms of positioning during filming. You want to be in a position where you are able to capture the full court or field of play while also ensuring that your tripod, holder and phones are not in danger of being contacted by players or spectators. As a general guideline we recommend the following:
      • if you have two iPhone 11s or higher: at center court or midfield, roughly 3-6 feet from the side of the field
      • if you have two iPhones but only one is iPhone 11 or higher: at center court or midfield, roughly 25 feet from court, or in line with the foul-line extended, roughly 10 feet from court
      • if you have two iPhones 10 or lower: at center court or midfield, roughly 25 feet from court, or in line with the foul-line extended, roughly 10 feet from court
      Q:
Can I move the camera(s) to a different location once I’ve started filming?
      A:
Yes. If you need to move to a different location once you’ve already started filming, first press the Pause button to pause filming. Then, move to your desired location. Set up the tripod and holder to get the best view you can and then press the Record button to begin recording again. If you are filming in FullCourt mode, make sure you have proper overlap between the two iPhones, then press the Record button. If you are filming in Single Camera Recording mode, hit Record as soon as you are set in your new position.
      Q:
I’m in the stands and the camera is really far away from the field or court. Should I zoom in on my iPhone before filming?
      A:
If you are filming in FullCourt mode with 2 iPhones there will not be any option to zoom. You will actually be able to edit and zoom after the Full Game video and Clips have processed and are available for download. If you choose Single Camera Recording, the zoom will be located in the bottom left corner of the screen, represented by the - and + buttons with the precise zoom amount in between them. If you are far enough away and can capture the full court or field of play with 1 iPhone in Single Camera mode without needing to move your tripod back and forth, you may prefer that setup so you can zoom in on the action.
      Q:
I’m filming outside and it’s very hot. Do I need to worry about my iPhone overheating?
      A:
Yes. If the phone gets too hot and overheats, your iPhone(s) might display the operating system temperature warning that says your phone needs to cool down before it can continue operating. The app will provide a warning if your phone becomes overheated or if there is too much pressure being exerted on the phone(s); in this case, the frame rate of the recording will be reduced to 20 frames per second.

Some common actions you can take to help lower the temperature of your phone:
      • Closing all other apps that are open
      • Restarting
      • Filming in an operating temperature between 32° to 95° F
      • Removing your case
      • Using natural shade or an umbrella to prevent the phone(s) from being in direct sunlight
      Capturing and Editing Highlights (“Clips”)
      Q:
      What are “Clips?”
      A:
Clips are what we call highlights, and let’s face it, everyone loves highlights. We make it easy for you to capture and share Clips during and after the game.
      Q:
How do I create a Clip?
      A:
You can capture Clips while filming is in progress or create them from the Full Game video after the game is over.

To create a Clip while filming:

When there’s a play that just happened that you want to save as a highlight:
      • Press the “Clip” button in the lower right corner of the iPhone recording the game (you can use either iPhone if you’re recording in FullCourt Mode). This automatically saves the prior 12 seconds from the video as a Clip and drops it into My Studio. You’ve just magically gone back in time and captured the big play!
      • You can continue to hit the “Clip” button whenever you see something highlight-worthy and they will all be saved as separate highlight videos within My Studio
      • When you press the Clip button, a window will slide from the right – this is where you can tag a Clip with a player number from your team’s roster and/or tag a play by play type. Any tagged info will be stored with your Clip in My Studio (where you can also filter clips by player and play type)
To create a Clip after the game and filming is over, or to learn how to edit Clips, follow the instructions in the Editing Video section.
      Q:
How do I tag Clips with player number and play type?
      A:
      • When you are recording and press the Clip button, a tray will slide out from the right with any player numbers you’ve added to your roster
      • Click a player number to connect that Clip to a particular player (or you can click “None” to dismiss the screen without tagging a player)
      • The tray will now show play types. Click a play type to connect that Clip to a particular type of play (or just click “Wow” to dismiss the screen without tagging a play type)
      • You can turn off the tagging feature by clicking the settings icon on your recording screen and toggling one or both of the options (Show Play Types and/or Show Players)
      Q:
      What is “Remote Clipping?”
      A:
With Remote Clipping, you can even capture clips without standing next to the iPhone that is filming the game. Go ahead and take your seat in the stands and use a different phone to capture the Clips during the game.
      Q:
How do I use Remote Clipping?
      A:
      • Go to My Studio (tab in lower left corner) on the phone that is not being used for recording
      • Press “Remote Clipping” in upper right corner
      • Make sure the iPhone has Bluetooth enabled
      • Press “Select Devices” in the upper right corner
      • Beneath “Available Devices,” find the iiPhone you want to use and click “Connect”
      Q:
How do I keep score and capture Clips?
      A:
The scorekeeping feature is currently only available for basketball teams.

The scorekeeping widget will appear on the right side of the screen as soon as you begin recording a game, with both teams set to “0” and Period set to “1”.

Whenever a team scores, simply tap the “+” button to the right of that team to increase the score by 1 point (free throw); tap the button twice for a regular basket or three times for a 3-pointer. When you increase the score for your team, we will automatically create a Clip of that play and tag it as a free throw, 2-point play or 3-point play based on how many times you tapped the “+” button (we will not automatically create Clips for an opponent’s score). Once you’ve increased the score, you will also be able to tag the player number if you have added players to your team and have the “Show Players” feature active. Make a mistake? Simply hit the “-” button to reduce the score.

You can change the Period (e.g., Period 1, Period 2) by hitting the “+” button.

If you’d like to capture a Clip of a non-scoring play (e.g., rebound, steal, etc.) or an Opponent’s score, just tap the “Clip” button in the lower left corner of the recording.

Click on the Settings icon in the upper right corner of the recording screen if you would like to turn any of these features “On” or “Off”:
      • Show Play Types (e.g., free throw, rebound, etc.)
      • Show Players (if you have added players to your roster)
      • Show Game Score
All Clips will appear in your MyStudio page, with the Period and Score showing in the Clip thumbnail, making it easier for you to identify plays. You can also filter all Clips by Play Type or Player Number by tapping the Filter button in the upper left corner of the MyStudio page.

Note: The scorekeeping feature has not yet been added to the Remote Clipper, so all scoring must be done on the iPhone(s) being used to record the game.

      Sharing Video and Clips
      Q:
How do I share video and Clips?
      A:
There are two ways to share video and Clips from within the FullCourt.ai app:
      1. Full Game video and Clips are automatically shared as soon as they become available with all Team Members who have an account and have the FullCourt.ai app installed on their iPhone. Since Clips are small and processed quickly, this means Team Members can watch Clips almost in real-time. Since Full Game video takes longer to process in the Cloud (particularly for games filmed in FullCourt Mode), Team Members might not see video until after filming has ended and the video has been processed.
      2. To share a Clip:
        • Click on the Clip you’d like to share. This brings you to the Edit Video screen
        • Press the Share button (up arrow). You may see a brief “Preparing Clip” popup while the Clip is processed.
        • When processing is complete, the typical iPhone share screen will appear
        • Choose your desired option for sharing
You may also download a Clip to your Camera Roll to save and/or share with others as you normally would
